App Terms of Use

The AUREA Lab app lets you browse the studio’s services, request an appointment, follow its status and cancel it. It is published by AUREA Lab, 1st floor of the Akoor Digue shopping center, Antananarivo, Madagascar. By installing and using the app, you agree to the terms below.
Your account
You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email address. There is no password to remember. The code is valid for ten minutes, and five requests per hour are accepted for the same address. Use an address that belongs to you and that you actually check: it is where the studio confirms your appointments.
You do not need an account to request an appointment. You do need one to see your appointments in the app and cancel them yourself.
Requesting an appointment
Choosing a time slot sends a request, not a firm booking. The slot is held as soon as the request is sent, so that nobody else can take it while the studio reviews it. You receive the confirmation or the refusal by email, at the address you provided.
The times offered are those genuinely open for booking; the studio is closed on Sundays. A confirmed appointment is a commitment to arrive at the agreed time.
Cancellation
You can cancel an appointment from “My appointments” up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled time. After that, cancellations are made by phone with the studio, at +261 37 51 584 91.
The studio may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment if something unexpected comes up; it will then let you know by email or by phone.
Prices and payment
No payment takes place in the app: services are paid for at the studio. The prices shown are those charged by the studio at the time you view the app. They may change; the applicable price is the one announced at the studio on the day of your appointment.
What the app guarantees, and what it does not
The app is provided as is. It needs an internet connection and the studio’s website to work: if either one is down, the app is temporarily unusable. The studio keeps the displayed time slots up to date, but cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from the app being unavailable.
Fair use
Time slots are a limited resource: a slot that is held is a slot another client cannot have. Booking with no intention of coming, or creating several accounts to get around the app’s limits, deprives someone of an appointment. The studio may refuse a request and close an account in the event of clear or repeated abuse.

Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated, in particular to reflect changes to the app. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Madagascar. Failing an amicable settlement, the courts of Antananarivo have jurisdiction.
